Posted on November 22, 2011 by Sarah Murphy This one basically speaks for itself. Notorious foreclosure firm, Steven J. Baum PC, most recently known for their heartless mocking of homeless people at a 2010 Halloween party, is closing its doors. Yes, people will be losing their jobs and that is incredibly unfortunate, but I have to say, it’s hard to feel sorry for them. For years their greed helped make thousands of people homeless. In their statement, Steven Baum says, “Disrupting the livelihoods of so many dedicated and hardworking people is extremely painful…” No doubt losing a job is incredibly painful, but where was this empathy when they were shuttering the doors of home after home using questionable, and sometimes erroneous, tactics. Hopefully this serves as a wake up call.
