Free literacy, GED, ESL (English as a Second Language), and career and technical education classes offered. Classes offered at sites throughout Brooklyn. Call main telephone for more information about classes in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Call room 112 for more information about classes in Williamsburg, Bushwick, Flatbush, Greenpoint, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, Sunset Park, Park Slope, and Downtown Brooklyn. Call room 109 for more information about classes in East New York, East Flatbush, Canarsie, Ridgewood-Bushwick, Midwood, Ocean Hill-Brownsville, Borough Park, and Bensonhurst. The Brooklyn Adult Learning Center is also the central office for the Department of Education's Office of Adult and Continuing Education (OACE).
