Except this green patch happens to be alongside the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn. The tent stands by a tricky turn where southbound drivers bearing left off the Gowanus to head onto the Prospect Expressway must pay close attention. Those who catch a glimpse might wonder: a hipster expedition or maybe a performance prank? The reality is more sobering.
