We Can End Homelessness

Housing is the Solution

It may seem like homelessness is a problem that cannot be solved – especially since the number of households without homes is at an all-time high in New York City. But we can solve homelessness.

In addition to certain proven solutions, if New York City is serious about solving homelessness, we must:

  • Build housing that is affordable to low-income households and people who are homeless,

  • Increase the availability of vouchers, which help people pay their rent, and

  • Prevent families who fall on hard times from being evicted with emergency rent assistance.

You can help by getting involved or by donating to our work to ensure that there is a #HomeForAllNYC.

A illustrated image if a person, sitting on the pavement, on a piece of cardboard. Behind them, their child draws a picture of a house on the brick wall. Text next to the illustration reads "NYC can solve homelessness", "housing is the solution", and a hashtag that reads "Home For All NYC".
