The Coalition for the Homeless is proud to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Grand Central Food Program, which was launched the day after a homeless woman died of starvation in Grand Central Terminal.
The program is now the largest nightly mobile soup kitchen in New York – serving 1,000 meals each night to homeless and hungry men, women and children living on the streets of the city – and in 30 years has never missed a single night of operation.
We are offering special Corporate Sponsorship opportunities to companies who wish to help us keep this vital program going at a time when so many New Yorkers are struggling for survival on our streets.
