Bratton, de Blasio Say Cuomo’s Executive Order Doesn’t Change How NYC Handles Homeless on Streets in Cold Weather

City officials said Monday they won’t change a thing in response to Gov. Cuomo’s order to force the homeless off the streets in frigid weather because it’s what they’ve already been doing for more than 20 years.

“I don’t see that the governor’s executive order changes anything that we do, that we haven’t already been doing, going back to when I was chief of transit police in 1990, police commissioner in 1994,” said Police Commissioner Bill Bratton.
