Coronavirus Deaths Among Homeless 61 Percent Higher than City Rate, Report Finds

NEW YORK – A report finds homeless New Yorkers living in shelters are dying from COVID-19 at higher rates than the rest of the city.

The report by the “Coalition for the Homeless” finds homeless deaths were 61 percent higher than the citywide rate.
