Aiding the fight to eliminate homelessness, the Coalition for the Homeless annually hosts Artwalk NY, an art auction benefitting the nonprofit advocacy group. This year’s event, held on November 17, will honor Richard Gere and Alec Baldwin for their philanthropy, as well as artists Patricia Cronin and Deborah Cass. The live auction will be led by Sotheby’s auctioneer Aileen Agopian and will showcase works by Jenny Holzer, Glenn Ligon, and Ed Ruscha, among others. Meanwhile, the silent auction with Paddle8 will feature works by Christo, Tracy Emin, Kate Gilmore, Mary Heilmann, Alex Katz, Glenn Ligon, Shantell Martin, Emilio Perez, Kenny Scharf, Swoon, and Dustin Yellin.
