During this event, the Homeless Alliance of WNY joined State Sens. Tim Kennedy and Marc Panepinto, Assemblymen Sean Ryan and Mickey Kearns, Buffalo Comptroller Mark J.F. Schroeder and representatives of Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz and Assembly Member Crystal Peoples-Stokes in calling upon Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to create 35,000 permanent supportive housing units across New York.
