But we can’t forget the many left to the streets, sustaining themselves whatever way possible, often through panhandling. These numbers have clearly grown, further demonstrating the dire straights many New Yorkers face either in homelessness or on the cusp. This report by Fox 5′s, Kerry Drew, speaks to a few members of the street community to gain some insight into their lives.
