The Coalition greatly appreciates your interest in volunteering and helping homeless New Yorkers. We currently have volunteer opportunities with our Grand Central Food Program. Our Grand Central Food Program is the largest nightly mobile soup kitchen in the country delivering roughly 1,000 meals every night of the year at 22 stops around New York. We take up to 6 volunteers to join us at our first stop at St. Bartholomew’s Church from 4:30pm to help us set up and serve meals until 6:30pm Monday through Friday. The Grand Central Food Program is also looking for volunteer drivers from 6:45pm until roughly 9:30pm. The route begins and ends at St. Bartholomew’s Church on 51st Street.
